I am an accomplished independent filmmaker based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, specializing in directing. I’ve recently graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.A. in Media Arts, bringing over five years of dedicated industry experience to my craft. I have contributed to various major film and television productions, including 1883, 12 Mighty Orphans, and Cruel Summer. Additionally, I have played pivotal roles in numerous independent narrative short films as Director, Cinematographer, and Editor.

Among my notable directorial endeavors is the short film Recyclos, a project close to my heart, which explores themes of humanity and existence through the lens of the last human on Earth and a sentient robot.

Beyond filmmaking, I have collaborated with non-profit theatre companies such as Young Actors Guild and McKinney Repertory Theatre, taking on roles such as Director, Stage Manager, Actor, and Board Member. Notably, I served as President of the Women in Cinema organization at the University of North Texas, demonstrating my aspiration for inclusivity and empowerment for all women entering the industry.

With six years of directing experience, I’ve been able to share my original stories and bring others’ creations to life. Debuting my directing skills in theatre, I’ve developed a deep understanding of coaching actors and character development. Having experience with a broad range of film positions, I have an intimate understanding of all aspects of the production process, enabling me to lead and collaborate with my crew.

I began my film career as an editor, having over twelve years of experience in programs such as Adobe Premier Pro, Avid Media Composer, Adobe After Effects, and Final Cut Pro X. My editing portfolio includes projects such as music videos, commercials, narrative shorts, documentaries, interviews, and instructional videos. My masteries include designing captivating narratives, SFX, audio design, color grading, and much more.

As a Director of Photography, I bring a level of organization to productions that is unparalleled. I’ve received formal training from industry professionals as DP and camera operator working with Red Kumodos, Panasonic EVA1, Black Magic, GoPros, DSLRs, and a variety of other Gaffer/Grip equipment. For my numerous indie projects, I have experience with shot framing, designing story boards, creating shot lists, and attention to detail regarding visual elements and continuity.
